2. What information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and carry out your repair. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

  • Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and address.
  • Vehicle and repair details: make, model, registration number, photos of the damage and a description of what happened.
  • Insurance details: your insurer, policy or claim reference and related claim information, where you ask us to help with an insurance claim.
  • Messages you send us: by phone, email, through a contact or estimate form, or through any chat feature on this website.
  • Technical information: basic data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected by our website host and security tools.

3. How and why we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you an estimate (taking steps at your request before a contract).
  • To carry out your repair, arrange recovery or a courtesy car, and keep you updated (performing our contract with you).
  • To deal with your insurer or loss assessor on your behalf and invoice them (performing our contract with you and our legitimate interests).
  • To keep business, tax and accounting records and meet our legal obligations (legal obligation).
  • To keep our website secure and working properly (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your information where necessary, with:

  • insurers, loss assessors and claims handlers involved in your repair;
  • parts suppliers, recovery providers and courtesy car providers, where needed to carry out your job;
  • our website host and technology providers, who process data on our behalf (for example WP Engine, which hosts this site, and our email provider);
  • our accountants and professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

5. Cookies and third-party content

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and stay secure. Our Contact page includes an embedded Google Map, and Google may set its own cookies and collect information when that map loads. You can control cookies in your browser settings. If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

If you use the chat assistant on this website, the messages you type are processed to generate replies and may be handled by our chat technology provider. Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as payment card or health details, in a chat message.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, including to meet legal, tax, accounting and insurance requirements and to deal with any warranty or claim relating to our work. Enquiries that do not lead to a job are not kept longer than necessary.

8. Your rights

Under data protection law (the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
